Unfortunately, this problem hasn't been solved yet. I've noticed some other issues as well, which I'll show here.

I have three solids, one of which is hidden.

Now I want to merge the other two solids using a Boolean operation, but the hidden solid is also displayed, even though it isn't selected.

The Boolean operation itself works as intended, but the view isn't correct when selecting.
