Feature Requests

At the end of a construction, I usually add Chamfer to the entire model piece by piece. After an undetermined number or point in time, you can no longer change or add anything to the model. The app will close immediately. Reproduced on macOS and iPadOS, latest official versions (no beta).

In advance: Thank you so much for this great application! I'm thrilled! Thanks for your efforts!!! Here are a few feature requests and bugs. Features: as with chamfers, it should be possible to create radii on object edges Implement the creation of folders for projects on the home page Bugs: Please make menus floating, they are often in view and cannot be moved (particularly noticeable with the sketch menu, on iPad it is always centered in the middle of the screen) Diagonal construction lines interfere when creating a rectangle with a center point and must always be removed manually, these are m.E. not needed/useful when you edit a sketch, the solid you have already created does not change (Re-) naming the file names from the start page does not change the name within the project For new projects that you create when another one has been edited before, the project name of the previous one is always transferred instead of saying “unknown” there A solid in the 3D view cannot be rotated completely freely, you reach turning limits, which makes the whole thing cumbersome mathematical calculation functions, e.g. when entering lengths, would be helpful 3D rotation is a bit too soft, could be more direct and faster m.E. The zoom is unfortunately limited too early, which makes editing sketches and objects almost impossible even in the mm range, in particular this limits the selection of lines z.B with the Apple Pencil. If 2 parallel lines of a rectangle are 1 mm apart and you want to select the area in between, this is impossible because the lines are always selected, etc. Within a sketch, created lines, regardless of the type, that lie above a reference line, cannot be selected; the reference line is always selected Thank you and best regards Marc

Currently, if I want to select a specific sketch profile that is "hidden" inside a solid, I have to expand the "Solids" category and hide every single body individually. This is very time-consuming. Proposed Solution: Category Show/Hide: Add a visibility toggle directly to the parent folders (e.g., Sketches, Solids, Planes...). One-Click Isolation would allow users to hide all solids at once to focus on a sketch, and then bring them back with a single click.

The recently added rename functionality for sketches and solids is great – thank you for that! It's accessible via the ··· menu on each item in the panel, which also contains the Show/Hide toggle. --- Feedback 1: Visibility toggle should be a dedicated icon, not buried in the menu Showing and hiding objects is one of the most frequently used actions in any CAD workflow. Having it hidden inside the ··· context menu adds unnecessary friction – you need two clicks for something that should be instant. Add a dedicated eye icon (👁) directly in the scene panel row, to the left of the ··· button. Clicking it toggles visibility immediately. When an item is hidden, the icon should appear dimmed/crossed-out to clearly indicate the state at a glance. --- Feedback 2: Add a Lock function If inline icons are being added to the scene panel rows (as suggested above), it would be the perfect opportunity to also add a lock icon (🔒) to prevent accidental selection or modification of a solid. This is a standard feature in all major CAD applications and is especially useful when working with reference bodies or finished parts that shouldn't be touched. Proposed behavior: Locked solids cannot be selected or modified in the viewport The lock icon is visible in the scene panel row and can be toggled directly Locked items could optionally appear slightly different in the viewport (e.g. slightly muted color)

OS: OSX When performing an Extrude Cut on a sketch face (annular/ring-shaped profile), the resulting cut geometry is incorrect.

It would be nice if there was a way to categorize the projects into groups or folders. I work with versions of parts by duplicating the "old" parts. This clutters the main screen really fast and makes it difficult, to find files and projects. The idea is to create a "second level" like a file system where the user can create a folder and sort the different parts/projects into.

The start screen and project overview has a graphical bug in portrait mode where the grey background for each part/project becomes one with the neighbouring one without white space between them like in landscape mode.

After the successful implementation of the mirror feature the next step would be the implementation of a pattern feature which allows the user to do linear or polar or combined patterns of parts. The idea is: The user selects a feature, e.g. a hole, or a solid and can define the amount of repetitions by a given distance. This could also be implemented into the sketcher to pattern circles or other geometries even before extruding or rotating them. Attached are some screenshots made in FreeCAD:
